I sold an original Game Boy ($9), and a Mad Catz DVD remote controller ($11). Great sell, eh? I can't believe how idiotic these folks are. Yesterday, I bought an Earthworm Jim 2 cartridge (GBA) for $5...even though the game stinks...it's a great deal!

original gb for 9! Thats a sweet deal. They are cheap on ebay and I think gamestop will give you like 3-4 for it, maybe not even that much and it has to have the barcode. Good deal :)

This is definately the biggest problem with this site.
And I bet people probably still are willing to trade it in for a penny at Gamestop
Even if they wanted to, they couldn't. When the computer tells us it trades for a penny, it is the computer's way of saying "We don't take this anymore." It's a shame. I've had to turn away several mint condition GB's and GB Pockets. The worst was the perfect condition clear one. What a sad day that was.

if Earthworm Jim 2 is like the EJ back on Genesis, then it was awesome. i never played EJ 2 on Genesis, but i played the hell out of the first one, it was so hard too.

...and thats when you say "We'll give you $5 for the GB" and pay for it out of your own pocket!

And that's when my manager fires me for soliciting customers! Lame, huh?

The two Earthworm Jim games were ports of the older games...but craptastic ports. They were awful - the password system was broken, the games were glitched all to hell, the control is off...it's just not a good game. The originals were great...but the ports are so ****ed up that they're not worth any of your time.

Thing was it was in good condition too! The screen had some scratches, minor, and it was noted in the auction. Even had the battery cover!

And what I find funny is I also sold a lot of 2 Game Gears with Sonic, in BAD condition, terrible screens, no battery covers, dirty...and it was listed as BAD CONDITION also....and it ended at 9.50 with 4.99 shipping...and the Game Boy is far superior to the Game Gear IMO!

I guess there is really no demand for the old Gameboy anymore if it ended at $0.55.

With Gameboy Color being so cheap (used ones on Ebay go for $15 - $25), anyone who is on a budget would probably get that at the very least if they wanted a Gameboy System.

i might buy a gameboy then. my one and only gameboy i got back in like '93 '94 maybe? anyway, i left it sitting on the car through the night and the dew destroyed it. this was like right after Christmas and i was a kid, so i was fairly pissed.
