As I was leaving the Wal-Mart I work at tonight, a friend who works there told me about a paintball gun that was put on clearance. He bought one for himself and told me it was a good deal. Here is what I got.

It retails for $114.97 at Sears.

I paid $9.65 for it :D

I've been wanting a paintball gun for a long time now. Hopefully this is a good gun.
 
Great for that price, but not too great of a gun.

Have fun, and welcome to the world of paintball. Be prepared to spend a LOT of that cash you saved by using CAG.

Ive got about 600$ in my gun.

Now this is friendship :D Jumping on great deals for friends, because you can always return the stuff anyway with the receipt.
 
I used to paintball all the time. I had about $1200 dollars invested in my gun at one time. For 10 dollars, that is ok to start with. But don't forget you will need Air, a Hopper, and Paintballs (which seriously don't come that cheap). For that gun you could probably pick up a fairly cheap CO2 tank for the air. As for the hopper, since it sounds like that has an electronic trigger, you will need at least a Viewloader Revolution with X-Board which feed you about 13BPS.

If you decide to get serious about the sport, look into ICD Guns, they are really great quality for lower prices than other Tournament Level guns.

You should really check out PBNation.com, these are the best forums for paintball out there.

Get yourself a cheapass CO2 tank (20oz Aluminum - $15) and other supplies (Mask, Hopper, Squeege, Case, barrel condom). The gun may suck, but for $10... I can't really say THAT much bad about it, considering everyone started out with a crap gun...

Oh yes, I almost forgot! That gun uses Spyder threads, like most spyder clones, so if you interested in a new barrel... although I doubt you'll need one. IMO the only barrel upgrade someone should get is a barrel kit.

I would but the one I bought was the last one. There are a copule of other guns that are priced 30-40 and I will keep an eye on them for a price drop for you.

There is a paintball place called Area 51 Extreme Sports not even a mile away from where I live. Plus, there is nothing but woods all around where I live. :)

BTW, this gun got some good reviews on pbreview.com
 
I just bought some goggles tonight. I got a JT Elite Headshield. Should I take it back and get the JT goggles that cover half of the head?

If this isn't a good goggle, please tell me which ones are good. I paid about $30 for the headshield.
 
I got that same mask. It does the job of protecting you but the lense fogs up some. (i also just got into paintballing)
 
When I was an RA, I used the school's money to go paintballing twice. Both trips I did all the work and got 20-30 people to go. First time, they gave me a free paintball gun, hopper, co2 tank, and mask for bringing all the people (and buying about 15 cases of paint). Second time I got another mask and some free paint, though another RA who jumped on my bandwagon bitched and moaned like a little girl until I let him keep the mask.

That pisses me off, because it says the lens is anti-fog. I might take it back then and get a goggle that doesn't fog up.
