Parents went on vacation in Korea and in the Magna Carta 2 thread in the deals I searched there a few months ago and saw that Korea had a LE printed there.

Well I printed it off and asked my parents if they see or have time to inquire about finding one. Well they managed to find one. They were limited to 1000 and that is why playasia did not even list it.

I figured I should brag a little bit. I normally dont about purchases and such. Here are the pictures though :)

The Outer Box. It was a bit bigger than I thought.

#994/1000. Can't believe they only made 1000 of these. My parents were going to pick up another one that someone online there was selling for pretty cheap (he had only opened the game to play it) but they did not have enough time. Otherwise I might have an extra to sell off.

The Contents. The top white things are 2 posters. Under that is the faceplate. The left side is the NTSC-J region game. The right side is the soundtrack.

The artbook sits on a foam piece that goes ontop of everything else. I have since put the American Artbook inside with the other artbook. The Korean Artbook is way better than the NA version for sure.

Wow, that LE looks worth the extra money. Wish the U.S. got some LE like that one. I, like the other poster, would like to know how much that cost though.

My parents wont say. But I would venture to guess over $100 US easily.

I say over 100 because they said someone was selling one on an internet site over there complete but opened game for $65 ish, they would have gone and gotten that one too but they didn't have enough time to :(

It is one of my Christmas Gifts though so I didnt pay for it :)

At least the soundtrack disc on that LE is an actual disc. That's what has stopped me from putting down a pre-order on the $100 God Of War 3 big special edition, since every 'extra' is only a frickin' digital download.

For the extra money I expect extras to be physical copies.

I hate you, that is all. X-(

Gah! I was hoping to find a Korean edition of it in general and no one is selling it online. I also wanted to get the first console Korean LE as well.

edit: I could strangle PA for this bs. The little shits offered the 600 pressing PS2 LE and didn't even offer a Korean edition in general for 360. fucking liars, that there wasn't one. Cheapest Softmax is fucking crazy. Look at all the original games from them on PC and what was offered. I wish I could get the original "Rhapsody Of Zephyr" box. Also the "Tempest" big box would be nice as well.

This is the infamous boobcover game as mentioned on the CAGCast. I'm hoping there's no direct connection to that and the giant bottle of lotion in pic #1...

Very nice. I wanted one of those too but didn't bother since I knew it was going to be impossible to find one for a reasonable price (like MSRP). I don't really care for the face plate or OST but I'd like that artbook.

Congrats, you're very lucky to own one of the rarest LMs this generation.:D

It'll be almost impossible to find in general as well, just like most Korean CD's even unless they're by mega-popular artists.
LMs? The sad thing is this type of stuff use to be the STANDARD edition with Softmax stuff on PC as I stated or rather implied above.
Consider yourself lucky if you have managed to amass any of these collections from Softmax as well as with Nihon Falcom to a lesser extent. Shit I think the original Magna Carta was selling 20,000 Won I wanna say($20 at the time) for the PC at Yongsan(Seoul's Akihabara and it makes Akihabara look like complete shit in sheer number of gaming booths).
I still cringe at the idea that someday I might have to buy the SHITTY(see non-LE and same price as it without soundtrack) edition of "Xanadu Next". It's enough to make me want to either vomit or punch PA in the face. As for Softmax I wish I knew a good auction site I could bag the earlier Softmax PC games. Shit I'd love to be able to regularly bag PC98 games but that's another matter entirely. It's not like the emulation scene isn't for SHIT on that front. X-(

I have been to Yongsan myself (last year) and man it was unlike anything I had ever seen. My parents after talking to them devoted a whole day searching on my behalf. Finally they tracked one down and purchased it. As I said earlier if they would have stayed for 2 more days they could have snagged another one for like ~$65 US.

I will be going to Japan next spring and hopefully Akihabara.

You'll be disappointed, trust me. I saw ALL of Yongsan at the time then went to Akihabara. I originally thought it was just that Megaspace and then a friend peeped me to the real place with game booth after game booth packed together, fucking crazy. This was when the PSP had just came out and someone was trying to sell it as well. chuckle.
I'm jealous as I would love to get the LE as well as the original PS2 LE. I still need to buy a Korean edition of it. No way I'm buying anything but Korean editions when a Korean developer made it.
I'm especially mad at PA as I just searched eBay and found someone with the Korean edition of Magna Carta 2. Those fucks at PA said they never saw one around launch and would notify me or some such. What a bunch of lying assholes.
Do you know any good Korean sites or other one's that are good to buy out of print stuff now for games? I already know one for movies and cd's.
Akihabara is only really great for arcade stuff. You will be let down past that.

I will ask my parents tonight or tomorrow if they heard of or remember any websites to buy stuff from. I can also ask my cousin in Korea next time I speak to him.
