I got Devil May Cry 3, New, for $25

CAGiversary!
Upon hearing of the 50% off deal at K-Mart from the boards, I headed on over to pick up some oldies but goodies I missed out on before since I hadn't gotten a new game for a while. I'd read there was a bin of designated games at certain places but the one around here just had all of them behind lock and key.
I asked an employee if they had a bin and he pointed out to me all the ones that were 50% off. "Everything on this top shelf," he said. Rumble Roses, POP: WW, all things I'd seen on the topic as normal. One, or rather, four of those games were not: four copies of Devil May Cry 3. I mulled over what to get, for one reason or another, and by logic, deduced that the best deal timewise and moneywise was DMC3. I looked for that employee again for confirmation and asked him to open the case. I asked again if this would be $25. "Yeah, $24.99." So I headed to the register and it comes out $54.11. With ad in tow, one of the people tells me that it was right there in their ad. Long story short, the guy admitted his mistake and I got a copy of DMC3 for $25. I lacked the foresight to get all the copies then sell them, but oh well, count your blessings.

Too bad the only K-Mart near me is in the ghetto, with the possibility of getting shot at, hijacked or my car vandelized i really cant afford to go. But nice deal! :D

This is off topic, but some lady sold a grilled cheese sandwhich that looked like Mary for $25,000. Wow, anyway, nice find OP!

Me too, I hear they're debating on changing the title to Prince of Persia: The Wheel of Cheese.
I will be getting DMC3 for $5 in 6 months when CC decides to have another crazy sale...
Don't even say it!!! Just hearing that gets me hard and ready to rock some faces!!!

These two activities should remain mutually exclusive at all times.

I hooked a friend up recently with a mistake like this. I was at sears, and they had a bin of games marked $19.99. Most of it was old crap, with the exception of Pikmin 2. I did a double-take on it, but they had 2 or 3 copies of it in there. A day or two later I told him (I already had it) and we swung by. Took it up to the register, and of course it rings up for $50. Explained it to the guy, pointed at the bin, and told him there are more in there. He asks us to bring him the others since they are misplaced, but says they'll honor the price for us on the one. :)

Whoops, mis-acronym-ed Warrior Within.

So what does happen in cases like this? Does the employee in question have the difference taken from his paycheck? If so, that really sort of takes the sweetness out of it, as the guy seemed nicer than most people you run into at K-Mart, hell, even in most retail shops.
