I have 2 Wii Classic Controllers that I will trade for 2 Gamecube Controllers

I bought 2 classic controllers yesterday thinking that I could directly hook them up to my Wii. Well it turns out that you have to hook them up to the Wiimote!!!! So I am willing to trade both Classic Controllers for 2 Gamecube controllers. Anyone interested?

Is there some kind of adapter that lets you directly hook them up to the Wii?

I don't recall an adapter. The only thing i've seen is a holder of sorts that makes it so the classic controller and wiimote are bound and don't seem tethered. I'm guessing you are trying to add 2 more players for Brawl, and having them be tied to the Wiimote makes it so you arent adding any?
