I live in the US but I'm stuck in UK mode

CAGiversary!
I'm not sure why but my account is stuck in UK mode. I go to the options to change it but it doesn't change it just remains in the UK mode.
This is upsetting because all the deal trackers and things show me deals for Amazon UK and use the incorrect currency for my area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I read a few other posts and messed with it a bit and I was able to fix it finally. So I thought I'd share how I fixed it in case you guys are having a similar problem.

1. Hover over the little gear icon under the search bar.
2. Select "options" from the menu.
3. Scroll all the way to the bottom.
4. There is a section called CAG Region Settings. Change to your desired Region.
5. Click the "save changes" button
6. Log out of CAG
7. Log back in.

hopefully your region has been updated. :)
