CAGiversary!
I stopped in gamestop today and to my surprise i found suikoden II complete and perfect condition. No scratches at all, it looks like new and also instructions and case are mint. Then i was checking out and the cashier said do you want the guide, it is the prima guide also mint and best of all it was 2.00! total with tax 49.22!!!!
That's just an awesome find. Kind of hard to believe that they even had the guide of it in-store, but wow. Congrats.
If it's true I'm asumeing that the same person that traded it in also traded in the guide, and also kept extremly good care of his games.

That's what I was thinking after I started thinking about if it could be possible to find both at the same store.

the guy who traded it in did also trade in the guide. The gamestop guy said that he traded in 15 psone rpg's because he needed money because he was getting married. he also said that they are all mint condition and complete. I did not have enough cash tonight but they are holding suikoden 1 and valkryie profile for me until tomarrow. some of the others were rpg maker, final fantasy VII, chrono trigger. there was 9 or 10 more but i can't remember which ones.

The thing is that, if someone where to be such a collector, he or she had to have known the value of the game. My only thought is that there had to have been a real emergency in which they needed money ASAP so the game had to go. Real shame when you think about it.

bah a game is a game.. most RPGs for me only have their value for the initial time I go through it.. I rarely play an RPG more than once (really the only exception to this rule has been the KOTOR series and Chrono Trigger)

Oh, there you go, my point is proven.

When I worked at a video game store during high school a guy came in with every single rare Saturn game. For example Gaurdian Heroes, Shining Force 3, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Dragon Force, Albert Odyessy, and more. I picked up several of them.
