I love Pho AND Lee's Sandwiches.

I've wanted to try some, but can't find a Vietnamese place around my crappy state. I should think I could make it myself, though. I should look up some recipes...

I think that might have to do more with being Vietnamese than it does Asian in general. I've tried Pho several times over the years, and its a massive disappointment every time.

Then again, I'm heavily biased towards Thai food.

:(

I love pho too, but usually when my mom cooks it. Many restaurants taste kinda blah when it comes to pho.

It all depends on where you go to eat it. Some places have mastered making it and some places suck hardcore. My sister introduced me to it about a year ago and since then I go at least 2 or 3 times a month.
Wtf is pho?
Pho (pronounced fuh) is Vietnamese noodle soup with beef, chicken, or veges. http://www.iamtonyang.com/0412/pho.jpg
Usually has onions and other stuff already in it and it is usually served with a side extra stuff that you can add to your soup like hot peppers, sprout, etc.

pholieve it, pho is great, and yes it has to do with being viet, pho is to viets as rice is to chinese, i cant eat it everyday but its hella good when i do eat it, especially with siracha and oyster sauce, what about bun bo hue ;-)
yeah pho is always good,

unlike ramen where sometimes u can get an underwhelming one.
Yeah, I thought Ramen 3 was underwhelming. Adding voice acting and Sonic-style attitude to the series really killed the whimsical fun that made the first 2 so endearing.

are you saying vietnamese people dont eat rice a lot as well? because thats lie

I have a feeling we have a thread somewhere about this, but anyway, pho is good and cheap for the amount of food you get (for most places at least). I used to eat it quite a lot since it was relatively cheap, but not as much anymore since I don't live around a Viet restrauant now.

Pho is not something I can eat every day or every week but damn I sure do love the vietnamese sandwiches though. Not only that, its also very cheap.

I'm assuming you are talking about Lee's Sandwiches... Yes those are great as well.. it's like a Subway Sandwich but much cheaper .. with so many things to choose from...!! Good choice!

man Lees sandwiches is nasty.

they might as well call it butt's sandwiches.

or Lee's Poopwiches.
Yeah, I thought Ramen 3 was underwhelming. Adding voice acting and Sonic-style attitude to the series really killed the whimsical fun that made the first 2 so endearing.
nah mang, I was talkin about ramen as in the japanese noodle soup.

why the hell did u think I was talkin about it tho??
They built a Lee's across the street from UCI the year after I gaduated. What a bunch of cockmucnhes
I bet it is, when I was at UCI I lived at Dartmouth and Stanford Ct. There was nothing around there, Lee's would ahve been sweet. I was so sick of in and out.

Funny thing is that Lees used to be a Dennys. They had the worst service and used burger king straws =p

In and Out gets boring fast. I don't know why people say it's so great. I'd rather save some gas and get a #2 at Mcdonalds.

I was at that Lee's with my drunk friend's last year. The sandwiches were awesome.

but like, there's better things in the university center.

Diplomat sandwiches are only 1000x better than Lees, but cost more than the price of 2 Lees.

Yes. It's a burger I get it.

But Ray's Pizza ain't too bad at University Center.

I usually eat pho about once or twice every month. I'm lucky that these two stores near my house make good pho because all the other places I tried it (including my mom's) suck hard.

I cant stand Lee's Sandwiches. My friends are obsessed with that place but I usually go across the street and get some KFC while they're getting Lee's stuff.

Diplomat aint bad, but a bit expensive if I remember. I got tramutized from thier sandwiches off the Brie though............. Should have never ordered that. So every time I would have one the memory of the Brie would taint my taste.

man I like the Brie sandwich!

French Connection I think it is (aka Roast Beef)

but Im usually all about the turkey supreme,

turkey bacon swiss avacodo yo!

but today shall be a good day for Arriba Grill,

I shall spend my hard earned $5.50 on a delicious burrito

despite my $50 parking ticket the got damn UCI hoe bags gave me yesterday

(I was gonna use that $50 to buy video games too...)
