I told myself I didn't want to post this anywhere, but I need to remember that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

If you like it, click on "Classic Game Room" which is right below the video. They are the best video game review show ever from 1999-2000 and they may be coming back if you help spread the word.

Don't expect this review to be in-depth. Professional reviews are for the freakin birds.

I've looked around this forum enough to know that some of you will like it, and some of you will just hate the living hell out of it. In any case, constructive criticisms are most definitely welcome. I messed up at least 8 times, I cut out tons of footage, and I drastically cut short some things. 8 minutes was pushing it anyway. I have a short attention span. Many people have short attention spans. Holy crap that fork is shiny.

All in all I think my video was terrible, but not the worst ever. It's only my first time ever recording my voice and my first time ever using the ULTRA SUPER DUPER Windows Movie Maker.

Thanks. I have so many pet peeves (you don't want to know) from watching other reviewers on youtube I just said, "Oh fuck it, I'll just do it myself."

I figured at least my half-assed attempt would entertain at least a few people. I'm glad I succeeded! Hopefully it will do The Game Room proud. They are my entire inspiration, and I will do everything within reason (and beyond!?) to make sure their show is brought back.

I do stutter and ramble often, but I don't really care. I'm not a public speaker, I don't know big words, and I sure as hell ain't gonna be professional.

I'm just doing this until The Game Room finally comes back. (which I hope is soon!)

I did that episode on a stretch where I had a 7-page paper and 3-page paper due in the same weekend. Needless to say I probably failed those papers. D:

you should have ultimately stated the obvious of the game:

it's nothing but fan service.

other than that I was entertained

I put the least amount of work into the posing. I don't think I put forth that much effort on the overall project, but I know it was more than some guys out there. This one was harder to do since there was a lot to cover but there will be some episodes where I can just do a few quick video edits, wam bam done in 20 minutes.
 
Watched the whole thing and found it pretty well done. Very comical, even laughed out loud at a few moments... especially the Hercule and Krillin part. If you keep doing these reviews, I would most likely watch them.

Wow, I didn't expect this much positive feedback at all. I'll be sure not to disappoint! In the mean time, tell those guys at The Game Room to come back out of retirement! They'll always be better than me! I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!

I reccomend putting in at least 2 hours of hard work... it'll definitly show and even if not, you'll be more educated and satisfied.
 
Yeah, I thought it was pretty damn funny, if not just a little disjointed (but that added to the comical value, really). Great work!

You know, that song (aka the G-MAN song) is actually from a really fantastic album by Tiny Tim. The man himself is fascinating, as is his composition and vocal range. On the album that song is on he does a version of I got you Babe, in which he sings a duet with himself in falsetto and a surprising baritone....just had to mention it.

Unfortunately, the album itself is very rare, and so is the cd release. Expect to pay upwards of $40-60+ for the cd and around the same range for the vinyl online.

However I must admit this is good enough material to put on Air time.

What you just did is the Jerftsons ( that thing with Tom go's to the Mayor ) bit only you are the Mayor babling on about some other thing that is of no importants and we are like omG Omg oMg make it stop.

I mean you look just like the guy who did the bit where he held up people for cash with a light gun and then commited suicide. Again that video got my attention but god alimighty that DB game is so lame. I will admit they got it right in all Sagas but the point is as a DB ( journey to the west ) fan myself I prefer the creativeness of the SNES games over the gba and PS2 games. Also
DB is a comic not a cartoon or videogame even if people buy the game.

Also to be honest they screwed up alot of things in the newer things and 3d was alot better to expriment with.

Again this video will probably make people stop playing games or go work out. Dammit It was waste of time wacthing it but it was really intreting to see what goes threw the minds of people that think DBZ is a hot game.

I have to go the MIB now to get this removed from my memory. Okay?

I think I watched "Tom Goes to The Mayor" for about two seconds. I didn't like it.

Can you shorten this rambling to one sentence? I wanted my first non-sensical hate response to be put in a huge font, printed out, and tacked on my wall but you rambled wayyyy too much. Summary in your own words plz thx.

Yeah, I gave it a cupcake score just because of the fan service and the fact that it was so much better than Budokai 2. It'll probably be a while before I review some games that I hate but most people love. There's a lot.

After all, I need to build an army of viewers to throw at The Game Room and bring them back. So far it's working a little bit. Their video jumped up about 150 hits and they got about four more comments. It's a start.
 
Pretty neat. You should make some more. The good thing is you don't come across as some righteous uber-nerd. There are too many people doing reviews or video-game related podcasts that seem pompous and full of themselves.

Awesome! Make sure it's Budokai 3 and not "Budokai Tenkaichi 2!" I don't even know WHAT the fuck is in that game! (and it's $49.99, whereas my game is $19.99)
 
I liked it. I'll watch more if you continue to make them.

The only problem I had with the video, was that it took a really long time for me to load.

Two different days, not twice in one day. My wording was a little ambiguous, but what I meant was "Today I watched the clip for the second time ever, having watched it once yesterday."

Oh, and I did watch the Classic Game Room clip, which was also very entertaining.

MY SELF WORTH IS DETERMINED BY THE INTRAWEBZZZ!!11") Rather, you just had fun with it, and the posing idea is fantastic. I love Tom Goes to the Mayor, and even if you don't, you captured a good chunk of what I find funny in that show.

I think all of us can see a little bit of ourselves in your little clip, and that's what makes it charming. Don't change that aspect.

Perhaps you could team up with a CAG or two. A SKYPE conversaion and few pictures sent back and forth could be a good laugh, and hopefully a good review. :)

Back from my backwoods vacation and ready to rock.

Can't do this nonstop though because I do have a full-time job, hahahaha---- oh wait bills :whistle2:(

Anyway! Working on many different shows right now.
 
Christmas episode coming soon. It might be late because I'm waiting in the mail for some AV cables for the console I'll be using.
