I preordered Brawl two weeks ago from CC..

I already received the free ten dollar GC that was offered. Earlier this week I found out about GameStop's overnight shipping deal. If I cancel my preorder from CC, would I still be able to keep the ten dollar GC or do I have to return the 10 dollar GC somehow?

I ordered online. I should have mentioned that earlier. I think you just need to proof that you preordered.

If you actually look at your invoice... you'll see that they charged you $40 for the game and $10 for the giftcard. So yeah, if you return the game you can keep the "free" giftcard.

yeah look at your invoice and see if its like that ^, if so your walking away with $40. I don't know if other stores do it, but I remember CC did that with the 360 accessories deal way back. Its something like buy a 360 live accessory worth $20+ and get $20 off the second one. Well I bought two 1600 point cards and they altered the price to $10 each on the receipt.

Hmm, I think my best bet would be to return Brawl once it arrives to my house.

I'm sure they take preorders instore (w/ $10 GC ), too. Though it depends on your CC. I say call in first. Unfortunately, my CC does not take preorders.
