whoa, thats so much. i want to put it up on amazon, but their shipping standard is $3.99?

how do people on heavy items on amazon/ebay if the shipping is 1/2 of the used price?

does it qualify for media mail? because its only $11!

its 24lbs, length 31", width 16", height 8"...

The game itself qualifies as media mail. I don't know if the official guidelines allow for extra items in the box. It would be one of those things where you would just not say anything at the PO.

"Parcel mail" is the media mail equiv to ship anything, but it is slightly more expensive (it does not have the media mail requirements.) You may want to check how much parcel is. Very rarely see post offices even list parcel mail but it is an option.

Depending on the range UPS might be cheaper. On heavy shipments they are cheaper than even media mail if it's fairly close to you. If you are going cross country though it will be about equal/more. That's one of those things that you would just have to use the UPS calc it's hard to estimate without exact logistics.

Incorrect info, video games are not allowed under Media Mail
"Video games, whether on CD-ROM, diskettes, or similar software, or playable systems including computers, do not meet the standards for Media Mail. "

Not familiar with parcel post, just remember to factor in the insurance cost as you crunch the numbers.
For this item, UPS Ground or Fedex Ground/Home Delivery will probably be the cheapest method.

i have an electronic scale that measures the weigh of the renegade bundle (everything in the box) as 10.4 kg.

multiply that x 2.2 = 24lbs

should it be like that? is 24 lbs heavy? i dont lift weights im a skinny motherfuhh.. i need money to feed myself. which is why i need to figure out the cheapest way to ship! :D

Personally, I'd try a flat rate Priority Mail box. I'd suggest going to the post office to get an empty medium sized Priority Mail flat rate box(rectangular shaped one) and see if you can fit everything inside of there. You could probably try to put the game on top of the deck and see if it'd all fit in there like that.

It might be snug, but that'd probably be your best bet. I've seen how wide/long the DJ Hero controller is, so it might just fit.

The medium sized Priority Mail flat rate box is $10.70 and Delivery Confirmation is $.75-.80. So you're looking at about $11.50 for shipping it that way.

Amazon also list the weight as 24lbs so you're more than likely correct.

Yeah, definitely try to avoid selling heavy objects online since shipping will kill any money you could get when the price is dropping quickly.

I had a guy on Goozex complain to me how much his GH bundle cost to ship when he was the one that agreed to ship it out to me, though I lost any sympathy for him when I got it and the guitar had stickers all over it and the whammy bar was broken after he said it was like new.

Yea, I always avoid selling heavy things on ebay or online.

I got taken to the cleaners once selling Taiko Drum Master to a guy in Germany. Never again.

shipping kills it and for $25-$30 for shipping alone, then adding on whatever your asking for it'll easily reach i'd say about $40 at least and it's going for about $49.99 @ gamestop, tru and other places so i'd rather keep it if I were you, trade it off, pawn it or sell it elsewhere like cl.

I just ordered the Renegade edition from the Amazon sale a few days ago and it showed up at my house yesterday while I was work and my wife called me.

Wife: What the hell did you order?
Me: A game
Wife: A game? What game? This thing weighs a hundred pounds!
Me: ---
Wife: Well its right inside the front door when you get home because I can't carry it up the stairs.
