I'm looking to CAG's to help me out.

I really want to buy an NES system. Let me know if you have one you'd like to get rid of.

EDIT: It turns out that my wife had one at her old house. However, All I can get is a blinking screen. What can I change to get it to work?

I have a NES in perfect condition with 2 controllers and the Duck Hunt Gun that has never been played... the catch? Its a british system but if you're interested let me know.

If only it wasn't british...

body of the system in good shape, 72-pin needs fixing (this is a guess, its not broken, but i know it could use some tweaking), which i can do if you want, 2 controllers, a gun, hookups.

First are you sure the problem is the NES and not the carts?

To fix the NES, you need to dissassemlbe it and clean the pin and the connectors on the board where the pin connects with rubbing alcohol. Or you can call Nintendo and they may send you a new pin connector for free. The new connector will almost certainly fix your problems, cleaning the existing one out could work.

They are pretty easy to take apart all you need is the right sized phillips head screw driver. You really need to pull the pin hard to get it off the board though. There are lots of sites that give pretty good directions with pictures.

I bought a new gold 72 pin connector a few years ago off of eBay and my NES has worked flawlessly ever since I put it in. Do that and all your troubles should be gone!
