I won Halo Reach Limited edition, how to sell?

So, I entered a total of 290 caps in the Honor the Code sweepstakes put out by Mountain Dew for Halo Reach (long title eh?), and apparently, I won stuff. I never got any emails saying I won any of the sweeps yet the past few days stuff has been showing up.

I got a Reach controller that I had no use for so I sold the controller for 42 on ebay, the one month card for 9, and the Banshee avatar thing for 7 dollars. Not a bad flip considering I just dug through recycle bins at work to get the codes. ;)

Now, I copy of Halo Reach Limited Edition shows up and I'm asking you guys for the best way to turn it into cash. I'll be monitoring a few auctions on ebay the next day or so to find out what I can expect to get it for there (I'm guessing 40?), or should I set up an Amazon sellers account and try to sell it there? My final option is to see if Best Buy or Walmart will accept a "return" without a receipt, I'd think I'd get in store credit since a lot of people would be doing it after Christmas right now right? Thanks for the tips if anyone has any!

That last bit is return fraud, brotha, and is highly frowned upon, not to mention illegal. If you're looking for LEGAL ways to do it, I'd split it up, and ebay everything individually. Probably would get you the best return.
 
Oh. lol sorry on that, just something I did with a bunch of Christmas presents at Yonkers from my grandma so I thought it may work for this. I just brought in a big bag of shirts and said do you guys sell any of this stuff? and I got in store credit on a few things. I'm not really sure how that's fraud since they sell that item and I'm returning that game new? I would understand if I used it then used a shrink wrap machine to re wrap it but hey it's new, but perhaps I'm missing some line of reasoning somewhere...

So you suggest splitting the content on ebay like I did with the controller? I'll look into that....

It's fraud because you know that you did not buy this game from them. You are messing up their inventory and accounts by doing that. Also, just because you did it once and they accepted it does not make it right. If you knew your grandma got them there, but just didn't have the receipt, that's different. This game however, was given to you as a prize, so it wasn't bought from any store, and buy returning it to a store, you are committing fraud. Make sense?

And yes, I'd look into splitting it if I were you.
 
Alright, makes sense when it's put that way. I'll just break it up and sell on ebay that way.

Oh, and I won a legendary edition too apparently. Lol. Stuff just keeps showing up here everyday it seems. Looks like I'm doing a lot of ebay selling this week!
