Looking for the best possible deal on one of the iClicker things used to give answers in lectures. Don't have any preference on used on new.

On a side note, has anyone taken a class that uses this? Is it even necessary, or does it depend on how the professor wants us to use it?

I have one, only used for one term. It really depends on the class/professor. My teacher used it a few times a day and sometimes used it for attendance and class participation. I don't have any use for it anymore...

I had one math class that absolutely required it; and it was the most worthless thing ever. Essentially, that prof used it as an alternative to a quiz.
