for those of you who have this great keyboard, well Logitech released an updated version. We loose a dozen G macro keys, and the display is no longer in a swivel and the key and backlight is now orange :whistle2:\ It is smaller then the current g15 but the price is still the same (100 bucks). They better give us a trade in program for those who bought the original g15 if we are to migrate to the new one.

Overall it's still a great keyboard but developers need to support it more. ;(
 
So which is better, the original or the newer model? I have alwyas considered buying the Logitech G15, but have been holding off on it because I need to build a new PC.
 
The new model looks nice (outside of the ugly as hell orange theme). I think I'll be hanging onto my original G15 though. I love this thing.

I like my original g15 (blue keys)...however those 18 macro keys are overkill and I don't even bother with them. The screen is so so. I was really hoping for a COLOR screen instead of orange. I was going to use this keyboard until that new optimus keyboard came out, but with that being 1500 bucks, I said fuck it and kept this one. Get the G15 (original) , you will like it but the built in USB ports are 1.0 so don't bother to use them.
