Importing GH5 and GH:Metallica from Amazon.COM?

So right now, Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero Metallica are a combined total of $61.99 US on Amazon.com, as opposed to $119.98 CDN on Amazon.ca. At that kind of a price differential, it seems like it'd be worth it to buy them on .COM, have them shipped to a friend in the States, and then have them mail them to me in Canada.

-Has anyone done this?
-Will the games work with a Canadian XBOX 360?
-Will the export codes work with a Canadian LIVE account?

P.S. My most sincere thanks to the following:
-Princess Zelda for the GH:SH and AC/DC deals (wish I'd made it to Old Navy on time to hit the LRB trifecta)
-TripleQ for the refurbished GH:WT kit deal
-Winkels for the Peggle deal
-Lone_Prodigy for the TRU MS Point and Live card deal
-And whoever it was who posted the $99 RB2 SE deal that got me hooked on Fake Plastic Drums(TM) to begin with

The games/hardware will work fine with CDN 360 machines.

The export codes will, as well. The only codes that won't work from the US are Xbox Point cards. Live memberships, however, work just fine.

Importing... Well, I can't see there being an issue there as well. It would be just like sending them as a gift, really, and for $60 US, I doubt customs would even sneeze at it, I've had higher values go through without a problem, just needs to be clearly labled as a gift. And this time of year?

I think you'lll be fine :)
 
FYI, Metallica doesn't have an export code really. It's got a code printed on the back of the manual, but the game doesn't export (yet)
