While probably not much use to most folks here, this could be a reasonable deal for someone who is new to HD DVD. They have 9 bundles (some titles are in multiple bundles) with 10 movies each grouped around action, comedy or drama at $30 for each bundle. While most of these titles are in the $2-4 range already, the plus is that it is only $5 shipping per bundle, so you save alot on shipping.

HD DVD is a great deal if you don't care about the format being dead, and if there are enough movies you want. I originally dumped HD DVD shortly after Toshiba announced its demise, but after a few months, I looked at the prices of HD DVD bundles on eBay when Bing (Live Cashback at the time) was doing 30% off eBay BIN, and wound up buying several large bundles (of up to 100 movies). I sold the ones I didn't want, or already had from other bundles. I also found good prices on an Onkyo 805 player (rebadged Toshiba XA2) for the living room, and an HD-A2 for the bedroom, as well as an LG combo Blu-ray/HD DVD/DVD-RW PC drive. I have a total of 117 movies, the two players, and the LG drive, and the net that I spent on everything is around $225, give or take a few dollars. Can't do that with Blu-ray, and a good HD DVD is generally equal to a good BD in picture quality, although there is more room on the typical BD for a lossless audio track, whereas the majority of HD DVDs have a lossy Dolby Digital Plus track. Still a great bargain if you get a cheap player or two.
