Internal Memory unit on the 360 arcade

Can this save any profile or credit card information? I sold a 360 and took out the HD, I didn't see any way to format the internal memory. I did recieve the unit back as a replacement for an RROD console maybe they sent me a core unit instead of the 256mb arcade unit?

Yeah, it keeps your profile(and I assume CC info) until you delete it(or format). But if you send into get repaired and get a different system, Microsoft wipes the data off the console to avoid identity issues. If you want to check to see if it's an older version, just see if it automatically brings up the memory space(older cores didn't have any).
