International shipping charges/cutoms question.

Hey guys, I hope this is the correct spot to post this.

I just recently bought a PS3 game from ebay, which will be shipping out from the UK. My shipping charge was something like 8 dollars for International Standard. I've never ordered anything outside of the US, so I'm not exactly sure how shipments go time wise, and price wise. It does not state anything about additional charges, yet someone at work mentioned customs? How do I know if there will be custom charges/etc?

Customs fees will depend on what the seller declared as the item's value. You won't pay any fees if the seller marked the item as a gift and/or declared the value at less than $50.

As far as time in transit, standard international shipping is usually 7-14 business days. It could take up to a month, though, so allow plenty of time.
