Watching A&E right now, and I see myself (uh, not literally) having been in this situation, not but a few months ago, on TV.

I reccommend it to everyone. Turn on A&E right now if you can.

If you were in that situation, I feel for you and I'm glad to hear you are still alive.

He said he was going to play The Punisher. I feel no pity for this man in this case. It would be different if he had good taste in games.

It is also the middle of winter apparently. What better way to stay out of the cold could there be?

I didn't put my family and friends through hell like that, but I stopped working out, lost 10 pounds, my grades dropped, practically quit my writing hobby, lost interest in work, and spent an ungodly amount of money on games, so I stopped.

Wearing a jacket or reading a book inside. :p

At least you didn't gain a 100 lbs and you lost weight instead :)

I haven't been gaming at all lately and I need it to clear my head sometimes.

I lost 125 lbs and became a workout nut when I got hooked on DDR. I need an intervention to stop this madness.

I instead herniated a disk in my lower back. Go me!

if this is the same episode I remember then I think his girlfriend needs to have an intervention for dating losers, I mean seriously she'd come over and he'd ignore her for the Punisher, yowza. She was nice looking too.

What do you think would happen if I went up to him and cracked a newly opened copy of Gitaroo Man in half right in his face?

I love @ the end where they say he still plays games you can hear him say in the background,
"Ah not those pink things shooting at me again!"

Hahaha! A goldmine that strange man is.

Everytime I see a show dedicated to the "gaming" scene I am hoping that the people in it are playing something interesting instead of sports, racing, FPS, or licensed garbage.

I always secretly hope someone is playing a 2d fighting game, a shooter (or shmup for you new gen folk), or an interesting import only title (Ai Cho Aniki, anyone?). I can dream....

He probably wouldn't know what it is. Now if you tried to take his copy of Narc you'd be in trouble.

I sometimes ignore my g/f for WoW. She knows WoW is my mistress :)

I'm the opposite. I havent played a game in like 6 months. But have bought thousands of dollars worth in that time. All sealed and waiting. I need an intervention to get me to turn a system on and play.
