Is AC1 (Assassin's Creed Uno) worth $15?

Hi all,

I have AC2 and love it. Now I see Amazon has AC1 for $15. I'm tempted to buy it, but....
Is going back to AC1 after AC2 a bad idea?

I mean, AC2 is great, right, so am I wasting $15 toward a backward tech-wise game? Or is $15 better served going AC:Brotherhood?

Please comment if you've played or rented both. Thx.

P.S. Here's the deal http://www.amazon.com/Assassins-Creed-Xbox-360/dp/B000P46NMK/ref=pd_bxgy_vg_img_a

Not when people are selling it used for 6 bucks and 4 dollar shipping. 10 bucks is 33 cheaper than 15. Nobody knows how good AC Brotherhood is going to be. Probably AC2 with improvements. I haven't played AC 1 but what I hear from everyone who has is that it's a fun game but gets boring, stale and repetitive. AC 2 did everything better than AC1 and cut out the bs.

Interesting question. I guess it matters how much the backwards tech is going to bother you.

AC1 is still a solid game. Repetitive, but solid. It just pales in comparison to AC2. So if you go in realizing that, then I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Save your cash and find a way borrow it. The story is good, but the gameplay is ultra repetitive.

Also, I second an AC Uno Card game

LIke the other posters said it is a solid game, but become very repetative after a while. AC2 is a lot better, but that is to be expected.
I was hoping this would be the card game Uno. :(
I thought this was for some AC Uno theme deck and thought, "$15, for a UNO theme?"

The special card for this non-existent AC Uno Theme deck (as all theme decks have) is the following:

Uno Assassin - Play this card on an opponent holding only one card in his/her hand and it will require them to draw 6, bringing them back to a full starting hand. (Can also be used as a regular Draw Two)

If it was real, physical cards, in a tin case or something, that might not be so bad.

Folks,

Sorry I haven't checked in a while. Midterm week plus.. Amazon raised the price.
Also, sorry about the misleading title. I was just trying to be creative. Guess that back fired.

I also would second an AC themed UNO game. Maybe Uno should license it from Ubi.

I guess I'll decide again after my class is over to get the game or rent it. But I'm leaning on getting it since I love AC2 so much (love the graphics, city design, gameplay). Once the new price drops, I'll snag it.

So thanks to all who replied. Peace out.

If you have the time you can play through the whole story in a week. So unless you plan on playing it here and there I say just rent it.
