Is anyone else suddenly getting a lot of spam on Gmail?

In the past hour, I've received 4 unfiltered spam messages, and have not received spam in my regular box for many months.

Is anyone else getting an influx of this spam?
 
I am, as well, in my Hotmail account.

Over the past two or three days, I've been getting hit with unfiltered spam... I never got any before this (3+ years).
 
If anyone would like info on how to make money by selling email address lists, just send me a PM... I mean, that really sucks guys. :)
 
Ugh!!! Yes, I was just messing with my filters! I mean, it goes directly in my spam folder, but 80 messages in a few hours?!?! Wtf!! I just cleaned out 334 spam emails.
 
Opposite problem...I'm starting to think it filters out every single thing if they're not on your contacts list. Does spam automatically go to that folder 'cause I'm starting to think some emails just get automatically deleted or something.
 
Spam goes to the spam folder and is deleted after 30 days. A few forum notices started heading into my spam folder. I had to unspam them (select the e-mail and select "this is not spam").

Yeah, I noticed that folder before, but I get so few in there I was starting to think they get deleted automatically. I only get about 4-7 there over the course of a week.
 
I've been getting a lot of spam in my hotmail account in the last 3 days or so. I just figured somebody got pissed somewhere and added my email to a few lists. My gmail account normally gets 2-4 spam mails per day.
