My Blockbuster's game selection is okay. What sucks is the stupid fat teenage girl who somehow runs the Gamerush. She is rude and obnoxious.

I refuse to shop at that location anymore.

In my experience, different BB stores have different issues. Most of the time my local stores only have one or two copies of any game, so if you're looking for a particular game, chances are good it's already checked out. The other issue I have is that when a game is released on multiple consoles some BB stores will only carry the PS2 version.

My Gamerush is awesome. The guy at the video game desk is very helpful and games like KOTOR II have about 50+ copies. Also, all newer games have a trade in value of $35.

There's not even a GameRush in this state. The last time I went to Blockbuster to rent a game (I go to Hollywood Video) was the day Wrestlemania XIX came out on Gamecube. They had it a day before Hollywood Video did.

my GR is amazing with games...they had MP2 MGS3 for preorder and will have DMC3 for preorder and all the games you mentioned

You're not the only one, slidecage. Mine doesn't even carry The Punisher, Mega Man X8, Kessen 3 or Xenosaga Episode 2. And this is a Blockbuster with a district office right next door.

I have to wait until Friday now for Xenosaga, since Hollywood Video doesn't get their new game releases until friday afternoon. But even they're crappy with their games, I had to get a guy to go in the back to get Resident Evil 4 a week after it came out, since they never put it on the shelf.
My BB doesnt even hav a GR
neither does mine bro..

mine likes to charge pretty much brand new prices for used games (come on 32 dollars for a USED red dead revolver...).. and i've noticed the PS2 over stockage.. and the complete lack of a decent xbox Game cube section.. on the flip side.. they always have 3 for 20 dvds and always have a ton of great movies to choose from..

as far as trade in value, game rush is by far the best. but when it comes to selection, it sometimes takes weeks for them to get new games and preplayed is a total crap shoot.

My Blockbuster SUCKSSSS when it comes to buying used Gamecube games, yet I look around and see mounds of used Xbox and PS2 stuff. I dont have a Gamerush next to me, so I guess its kind of a moot point. I asked them before why they dont carry more Gamecube stuff, the response, "Gamecube isnt that great of a console". IDIOTS!!!
