Is Fry's really that cheap?

The closest Fry's is about an hour away from me, so I haven't been there in awhile. I have seen the ads, and I do notice that LCDs and printers are significantly cheaper than that of places like CC and BB. But how are their HDTVs?

For example, the price I see everywhere for a Sharp Aquos 1080p 42" LCD HDTV is about $2300. Would Fry's have it for much less?

well when the item go on sales, frys has the best price. Their non sale it is not cheap. i would call them first

When it's regular price it's usually the same price as BB & CC. But one thing that I like about frys is they seem to do returns pretty easy. I've never returned a TV but as long as you say "I want store Credit" they have never given me problems.

They have really good sales. But also be aware they have almost no one on the sales floor that will help you find what your looking for.

Also, the store has so much cool stuff. Everytime I go there, i tend to stay for at least an hour just wandering around looking at all the goodies, wishing I was a millionaire.

frys is one of those stores my girlfriend doesnt like me going to, because i say im just going for a dvd deal, game deal, and end up coming home with 3 extra things.

you just get the urge to buy random games or DVDs you don't need at all, but it looks so much cheaper that you have to go for it, ugh..

Fry's is, in ways, a lot like CAG: Things are cheap, and thus you buy a lot of it.

It also has really good setups for various games. I can't tell you how terrible the local BB's set ups are, and Fry's setups are always great on big monitors with chairs you can actually sit in to play.

Fry's Electronics usually has the best price, and also has a way better selection than what you're going to find at BB, CC.
