As the title states, just wondering if this is a title worth purchasing? Gohastings has it for $30 which is the cheapest I've seen it, but I was curious. Has anyone played this and can offer their opinion on it? Thanks in advance! :)

Interesting.. If you do happen to recall where you saw the game for that price could you please let me know? :) That'd be awesome! I'd be more apt to pick the game up for that price than for $30.
If you dont mind new copy with minor tear on the warping I can sell it to you for $25 shipped
Thanks man, but I think I might hold off for now and wait until I see it for cheaper. In the meantime, I'll check out the demo and see what I think. :)

It's an interesting game, I found it just sorta so-so mainly because it's simply not my type of game and there's really no variation between the two characters, but it does have an interesting style. I would also suggest trying the demo first.

Unfortunately the two places I saw it for cheap (sears clearence and BBV) are probably impossible to find now, but it is $20 at gamestop, if it comes in stock online you can probably get it for about $15-16 using some codes.

I really enjoyed this game for 4 or so hours, but completely lost interest. Not exactly sure why, maybe it was because
you essentially have to play the same game twice, once from one characters perspective and once from the others. The first few missions or so you can just play one character, but you hit a point where you have to catch the second character up to where you are.

I loved the game. Great story, atmosphere, music, and visuals. I also enjoyed the gameplay and the bosses were very interesting.

Pretty sure Walmart clearanced it at $20. Worth checking... I still see some hanging around out-of-the-way Walmarts.

I can't recommend Folklore enough - the music and graphics are outstanding, and the whole game is just a little creepy. If you do pick it up, I definitely recommend alternating between the two characters as you go since you'll eventually need to finish with both. I've seen it for $20 at Walmart - that may be your best bet.

It was above average for a launch game but...it really doesn't hold up to a lot of the games that have come out since then. If you've got a queue ahead of it, then pass.

I've played a few chapters and enjoyed it. Have to go back to it sometime down the line and finish it. Sixaxis controls work pretty well with it. 15.22 shipped in excellent condition on Glyde, find a coupon for a few bucks off in the glyde thread or online to cancel out the shipping charge.
Game is quite 'meh'. To be honest there are better games in the genre out for around the same price.
agree.. Pretty weak sauce for a launch title. This game and Genji are the reason why the ps3 had such a slow start. Will not pay more than $10 for it.

This game has the best style and art direction I've ever seen. It's worth playing for that alone.

That's what turned me off from the game as well. The characters have enough differences to be fresh but the enemies are exactly the same. They should've just made it a co-op game.
