The answer you want: PS4 > XB1

The real answer: PC > All

Eurogamer.net usually does the best comparisons for high profile multi-plat games.

Every time I buy a game for my PC it runs in around ten frames per second. I don't see what the hype about PC graphics is all about.

In comparison, bought Call of Duty on PS4 and it looks great.

These games don't work well on an e-machine running Windows 98, bro. You gotta update your Voodoo card.

The issue about PC gaming is that you need high end parts to get the most out of it. The benefit is that if you do go all crazy with high end PC parts, your can squeeze far higher detail out of most games than other systems.

As for general comparisons, going by just resolution or refreshrate without regard for actual "human viewing quality", it'll be (360|PS4)>(X1|PS3)

If you want to rate things by perceived quality though, the PS4 and X1 are pretty much equal in terms of what the human eye can tell. Same goes for the PS3 and 360.

Also, kinda on the same topic, I hate how so many recent games sacrifice gameplay and story to try to improve graphics.

My old eyes can't tell the fucking difference.

Nothing against PC, it's got it's perks no doubt, but I'm not hunching over a puny monitor. I like my comfy chair, legs up and my 50' TV , 5.1 surround sound system with a glass of scotch by my side for a fraction of the cost (scotch included)
