Is This A Fake PS2 Console

Hello I got in a trade today a PS2 Console Like the one in pic below it says Test where the PS2 should be is it fake. If  it is not fake is it worth anything ,

Oh snap, noobie, you got yourself a nice catch there. It's a legit test PS2 unit which means region free and can even play burned homebrew discs.

How much did you get it for?

It's def not a fake, I think it's a dev console.

Good thing about it is that it will play any game from any region.

Like the others said, it's a PS2 debug unit and is more than likely the genuine article. I know they are worth more than a normal fat PS2. Not sure how much exactly but easily double the value I'd guess perhaps more.
