Is this a good deal?

Well I've had the same dell for about 6 years now, and i'm thinking i want to just buy a whole new system, but i don't want to spend too much.

I was thinking of getting this:

Along with the ATI RADEON X1600 PRO 512MB PCI Express for 99$

Would this make a decent gaming pc?

I don't need to run games at max settings, just good enough. I'm looking to play Oblivion, and whatever good FPS someone reccomends.

Check ebay for the parts and then add up the sum and there is your answer.

Looks to be a decent deal, you can probably get it, since everybody else will be wanting those notebooks and lcds.

good deal. Not sure if it will run oblivion smoothly with only 1GB RAM. But the 3700+ is good.

Could easily run fear and half life 2 fairly smooth.

You should get there around 1am or 2. You'll probably see a big line forming already. But like somone said, most of them aren't going crazy on this desktop PC, so you should have a good chance getting it if you arrive at those time.

Probably too late-but the Radeon x1600 for $100 is a rip off. For that price you can get a Geforce 7600 series card, or (sometimes) almost a 7900GS. The x1600 is low end by today's standards.
