It depends on what you need it for... I use to sell computers and that is the first thing you have to answer... then you can tell what parts of the computer will need to be better or would be ok with being worse..

Just an FYI... I would never get a Gateway.

What kind of gaming? Lots of photography? Willa TB be enough space, or would you end up getting external hard drives to use?

You will probably need a good processor and ram in order to game and photo edit. That cumputer has decent ram, but the processor is crap, I would recommend an I5 Intel processor... and then also you got to look at the graphics card.
