Jabra BT135 Bluetooth Headset (refurbished) $15 shipped (1-day only)

CAGiversary!

NOTE: This is NOT the same model headset that comes with Warhawk. That was the BT125.

I'm about to buy one, hoping to give myself some incentive to play Warhawk more.

As always with woot, there are limited supplies. Also, the only refurbished item I bought from woot (an mp3 player) has a big fat plastic REFURB decal on the back of it, that seems unremovable (it looked as if it was built into the casing of the mp3 player). And for yet another caveat: woot basically ships these things in plastic bags w/o the original box or instructions (but it's in a shipping box, of course).

Here are comparison prices (for non-refurbs, I'm assuming):

And some more info here:

For those of you not familiar with this headset, it's gotten very mixed reviews. And for those of you wondering if you can trust woot, I'd say they're pretty reliable...

Oh, and for those of us living in California, starting in July it'll be illegal to drive while using a cellphone unless it's hands-free. So, might as well get this now...

Many users find this uncomfortable for longer periods of use. I bought a different one and from my experience I think one of the headsets would be much better. You get what you pay for, don't forget.

Got any good, cheap suggestions? I really don't plan on playing with these for long sessions and I'll probably only use it for gaming, FYI. And, um...I have small ears. :)

BTW, I had to edit the OP because it isn't the Warhawk model. It's a lot dingier looking than the Warhawk one, actually...

Well, it did come with the European version of the game. But by the looks of it, they got ripped off, because it does look pretty dingy.

sorta OT, but does anyone know where to get a USB recharger for the BT 125? Model? I just got one for Christmas, and PS3 USB controller recharger won't work.. the port looks the same but it's too small.. Are they using a propreietary one?

Mini USB if I remember correctly, look around at Best Buy or just buy one off ebay.

Was it the Zune? If so, it's removeable. I got one too.

I thought the USB charge cable for sixaxis is mini USB?

It is; this is mini-mini USB :)

I bought a Plantronics 220 the other day and it's got a mini mini (mind you I just made that up, that's not a real term for it) that looks almost like an oval.
Yeah, I just ordered this Motorola one from Buy.com for $14.99 shipped as well. Can't beat the price. It's brand new and works with the PS3.
Nice find. Thanks for the heads-up, both of you.

there's a mini-mini version? Well I guess I can go look for one.. I'd rather use USB to recharge it instead of pluggin it in with the A/C adapter..
