Thanks, op. I'm kind of on the fence after reading this: "The quality is heavily compressed and not well suited for large screen viewing. How else can they squeeze the eight movies onto two discs, but to decrease video quality (by increasing video compression and their artifacts). Also, all of the movies just have English as the only language available and the original language audio is not preserved."
Damn it I really need to save my money...all these $5 blurays are killing my wallet
These are DVDs. No reason to consider wasting money on them.
Bad picture quality due to having eight films crammed on two discs along with English dubs equals no sale for me.
Disc 1 DVD10
Disc 2 DVD9

Project A, Operation Condor and their sequels, the best movies in this collection IMO, are on Netflix in HD. Mind you, it's not very good HD, but I'm sure it's leagues better than the picture quality represented in this set.

Would be nice if we got proper subbed and uncut versions of those movies on Blu in the future, but ya work with what they give ya.

I don't expect Hong Kong movies from the 80s to have HD quality. Besides, as much as I am a fan of Jackie, this is a terrible set considering there's no original language track.

Went ahead and ordered with the free shipping (missed it last time) and used a $5 code from my canceled Vanquish order. Thanks OP.

How's the video and audio quality?

Reviews on the DVD are mixed. A lot say the video/audio are not the best because they're 8 movies compressed into 1. Some say it's supposed to be that way. Some give it 5 stars, others 1 star.
