I was looking online for the option of watching Japanese tv feeds unavailable in the U.S. and found a few websites like japaneseiptv.com/ as well as www.superiptv.com/ when using the search terms "Japanese IPTV".
I'm interested in this mainly for access to TV Tokyo's feed instead of waiting for release of said Anime with subtitles. Additionally, I'm interested in getting TBS(Tokyo Broadcasting System, not Turner) and FujiTV for their live-action, where most of the streaming services options for Japanese Drama are pathetic(referring to ViKi AND Drama Fever here).
Along these lines I'm very interested in the HD feed and how the STB's manage to handle streaming HD. My concern is which of these devices handle the HD respectably or do they run the feed very compressed. If possible I'd like the feed option being as close to uncompressed or OTA quality.
I mean I've watched some of the HD streams from Netflix/Hulu and some feeds have clearly been compromised in terms of visuals. I don't know if they just don't give the servers enough leeway in terms of bandwidth or what.
Anyway, any help on those that have dealt with this service would be appreciated. I hadn't really seen any reviews on this yet hence the questions, especially given that they have something like 3 to 4 different IPTV STB's for Japanese IPTV.
