Does anyone know if there is a for-sure way to know if a console has the Jasper chip from the outside of the box?

Don't chance it - avoid the 360 altogether. All the best games end up on PS3 or PC and they are far more reliable and have superior and free online gameplay.

Classic. As if you had to chance it anyways. Pretty much every new 360 is a jasper. And, by the way, you just wish the online was superior.
