we recently got this huge silver tins adorning the halo 2 logo. i opened it up and its this sweet set of 2 master chief figs. the mc from halo 1 and the new one from halo 2. also includes like 6 weapons and some sort of cardboard standee or something. not sure if these are rare but only 35 after my employee discount. if anyone knows anything about these. lemme know.

yea I know about them they were an online exclusives from a website. Think the joyride site. Gotta check. I beleive they were 40 originally. That's why i didnt grab one. 35 isn't to bad, $5 discount. Where did u get it?
 
Yeah, I saw these today at GC. They're in a case similar to the Limited Edition of Halo 2 with the same logo. It's pretty cool.
 
in the case of picking one up, whadya think. worth it or not. i know joyride blows bigtime for figures. i wish mcfarlane or hasbro did em.
 
this set has been online and advertised in toyfare magazine for a loong time now(prob late 2004). Seems this is the stock that didn't sell on the website. I think the $40 tag scared people away. It scared me away months ago. Stick to the GC GS exclusives(active camo/battle damaged) and the colored exclusives by store. I have doubled my $$ selling them. edit: click evolution set($50 plus shipping was 40 in Dec i thought) so 35 isn't too bad. I'd still wait for the other exclusives
 
It's too much money for some cheap toys! I like halo and I want to get a master chief figure but they suck.

Why didn't Mcfarlane get the rights instead?

Agreed.

I got a Joyride Halo figure awhile back and it's a piece of crap.

SOTA's Street Fighter toys blow it way way out of the water and they are alot cheaper to boot.
