Just got Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana and FF3 for 25

Some lady was trading in those 3 games at EB. They were giving her 5 each so I offered her 25. Games are in good condtion and chrono trigger came with manual.
 
The guy at the counter is a good friend of mine (known him since high school). He was pissed that he couldnt buy them before me and sell it to another friend of ours for more.
 
your lucky that guy was your friend. They usually get really pissed if you do that kinda stuff infront of them
 
The funny thing is that as soon as I heard "I have some super nintendo games to trade in", all I was thinking was 'please let there be chrono trigger' the other games were just the icing on the cake.
 
Awesome find. Hell, I'd take getting banned from an EB/yelled at by the manager for a score like that. Even better that you knew the worker and didn't take any heat at all.

Did you ask the lady if she had any other stuff she'd want to sell you for cash? Might have missed out on even more...
 
dam you are lucky, every time I go into eb and gs I am always praying some mom is selling off a chrono trigger that I can grab off her for like $10. Great find!
 
I'm jealous as hell! I just dropped $40 on CT and FF3 cart only.
 
Nice find OP. Chrono Trigger and FF3 are both great games. I have both with the original cases sitting next to me from their launch. They're both mint and complete, too. ;)
 
dude great score...i wish i have get some of those deals...maybe ill just post at a gamestop or eb just to see if anyone trades in rare games and buy it off of them for a bit more hehe

Well in that case..... I bought CT a while back for the PS1 and it is insanely slow! I hated it. I realized the only one worth having would be the SNES. When I was working at GS my boss called me in at 8 am on a Saturday (my day off) to do a quick remodel of the back room. While we were cleaning I found an SNES Chrono Trigger ( which GS no longer sales) My boss said I could take it for coming in to help! WOO FREE CHRONO TRIGGER! Cart only but PERFECT condition!
