kbtoys 75% off video games

I was at the kbtoys in Grapevine, TX and noticed that they have 75% off yellow tag videogames. Most of the titles are crap, but at least its cheap crap. I picked up Voodoo Vince for $10 and XIII for $5.

I saw most of xbox's sport titles (amped, fever, NBA Jam), Sphinx, KOTOR, I Ninja, Spyhunter2, FFX, and some others. The only issue is most are still marked @ 39.99 or 49.99, meaning that the go for $12.50/game.
Wow.. Voodoo Vince for $10 after 75% off? Ouch.
Exactly what I was gonan say. That would mean it retailed there for $40 which is unbearable.

I think it might be worth taking a look at one of the KB's nearby, since the only thing I'd like to find there would be FFTA.
Not that great of a deal.... I mean Voodoo Vince 10 bucks after 75% off, come on!
They need to apply that 75% to the $10...
They probably marked up some of the prices and then did the reduction to give off a better perception.
No they just never adjusted them the first time . That is why their clearance game selection sucks . But you gotta love that $9.99 Xbox DVD kit .

Is Voodoo Vince really THAT bad? I gave it to a friend for Christmas (who just got an X-box). I read reviews and they said that it was a mediocre game (but a decent platformer). I just hope I didn't get a really crappy game. I also bought Katamari Damacy and Timesplitters 2 for the same person. Hopefully I redeemed myself with the last two games...
Picked Up Tiger Woods Golf 2004 and Splashdown: Rides Gone Wild each for $7.50 with the yellow sticker.
Splashdown: Rides Gone Wild is AWESOME. Nice score, especially for as cheap as you got it.

If anybody else finds it that cheap dont hesitate to pick it up.

I stopped in my local KBToys yesterday, because they had a sign up saying they're going out of business. They said all their games are 30% off, but there weren't many to choose from. I saw a copy of Sky Odyssey, so I asked how much it was. He pulls it out of the case, looks at it & goes "It'll be $20.99." So I ask, "Is that before or after the 30% off?" "After."

Riiiiiiigggght. ;)

Good riddance, KB, you won't be missed.

This is why KB rarely sold any videogames!!! They must've caught some poor Grandmas from time to time . . .

Voodoo Vince is an OK game . . . nice soundtrack . . . pretty graphics and some innovation in play mechanics.

Unfortunately, its about the best the platformer that the Xbox has. It doesn't come close to Ratchet, Jak, or Sly though . . . 3 reasons why my PS2 still gets a lot of use.

KB Toys is the biggest pile of shit, I do not know how they make money.

They always have shit on the floor, and no one around. You don't need sales when you can just steal the shit.

But you gotta love that $9.99 Xbox DVD kit .
My local KB Toys (Columbia, MD) had the Xbox DVD remote kit for $4.99 when I bought it last week.

Got some more deals at KB Yesterday. Got Syberia 1 XBOX for $5, Star Wars: Starflight PS2 $2, and bought the last two copies of Tiger Woods 2004 XBOX for $7.50 each for a grand total of $22.

Also, went to my local BB and traded in the two copies of Tiger Woods 2004 and got $14 each for them for a grand total of $28.00. I profited $13.00 extra dollars in trade-in credit. Oh How Sweet the Deals!!

i didn't look around too much, but i did get advance wars 2 and golden sun 2 for $10 each. my friend picked up metroid zero mission for $10. some of the other $10 games were the classic metroid, metroid fusion, r-type, sabrewulf, and a bunch of lesser quality titles. i had little interest in either the advance wars series or the golden sun series, but for $10 each, they're worth a shot.

My local KB is closing, and they also had a lot of signs advertising various percents off lots of stuff. One was for 50% off all videogame accessories, so I grabbed their last GC Memory Card 1019 for $18. Can't beat that.

at my kbtoys in atlanta, i was able to pick up super monkey ball 2 for 5 dollars. though the rest of the games they had weren't worth looking at.

HAHAHA! One of my friends used to work at a KB around 2001. He told us that the cameras don't work and told us the blind sopt just incase. Me and my friends would come in with huge empty bags and fill them up and just walk out. I even walked out with a genesis controller still in my hand. I didn't even bother to put it in my pocket. HAHAHA those were the days. Then I turned 18 and I stopped.

I totally agree. But, KB Toys online is a different story. I picked up on some great deals during my last-minute shopping before Christmas and they had my items here in time for Christmas morning. If they do stay in business, I'll definately shop with them online. I won't waste my time entering one of their B&M stores. More like Sanford and Son outlet there.

So are these deal marked or unmarked ala CC and other lazy stores. I went into 2 different KBs and there was nothing of the sort, except high priced GBA games labelled as such.

I don't think I know of any KB that updates even except for their closing sales =T. Otherwise I saw in MI it was 30% and the games aren't even that great. I'll check if that sale is going on at MOA.. if anyone haven't been there yet.
