I've been waiting for you Kevin Yu, the circle is not complete.

I'm sure you must have a good reason for not contacting me by PM or any of my emails. Perhaps your computer is on the fritz? Perhaps you've had your privlidges curtailed for some youthful indescretion?

Whatever the case, it's been 38 days since I sent you your new Dreamcast and I HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE GAMES YOU AGREED TO TRADE. You have, however, recieved the DC as evidenced by your posts in your trading thread and are quite happy with the transaction.

I am a reasonable man, Kevin. I expect people to be reasonable with me also. Reasonableness and honesty between men are the fabric that holds our society together. Without it chaos insues, leaving us no choice but to behave like wild animals.

Please email me, or PM me, or even call me as I gave you my phone # when we agreed to trade. Perhaps this is all just a mistake or a misunderstanding, but after 6 weeks without MY games, I'd like a little explanation. Humor me.
 
I called. Got a hold of a little sister who tried to play dumb. I finally got confirmation that he does indeed live there, was outside, and would be back around 9:00pm california time. I'll give him a wakeup call tomorrow morning and see if he slept well last night.
 
I wish you complete luck, bmulligan. I hate it when people just do one side of the transaction... I hope this gets straightened out soon for you, very soon, infact.

Last chance Mr. Yu. Tomorrow I start making wake up calls to your parents. I don't think they'll be happy about it. All I want is an explanation, an excuse, or whatever, as long as it's followed by MY games that are owed to ME.
 
well nothing in the mail today and the guy that posted before that hasnt gotten his yet also is waiting for the same game i am waiting for........funny. i'm waiting for two towers for game cube also

i bet the rims he sells doesn't take this long to ship and they are much bigger than a game

Considering the debacle that was the couldspekk saga, can we try to keep flames down to a minimum.

We seem to be getting varying reports as to whether the games are arriving - some have come, others are still AWOL. Unlike good old 'Spekk, rimsforsale hasn't proven to be a total wash quite yet.

Let's try to keep this thread and the other rimsforsale update civil and hopefully bmulligan can hook up Mustang and the other CAG traders with some real info.

In other words, lurkers, more signal, less noise.

i sent him megaman nt for two towers(gc) and its been prob around a month since i sent it to him. Stay on top of this for all of us. I know like 2 or 3 guys got there games yesterday but u and I are still shit out of luck here. If you do get in touch remind him of my trade also since it seems u and I may be the only ones left he hasn't sent to. Or are there others? It may be because of what you and I are both waiting for. You said you are waiting for two tower(gc) also? and what other game?
 
I traded him a Dreamcast system with 2 controllers for LOTR two towers and Robotech Battlecry spec. edition. I shipped my end on june 24th.

the last message I got from him on July 9th was this:

"np sending the package rite now. be on the look out. :)"

I'm still on the lookout almost 4 weeks later.

yes, suposedly he bought a buttload of $5 CC games and ended up taking some back because no one wanted to trade for the ones he got.

All I want is some kind of response. Just let me know you're backed up and are waithing for a paycheck or something. Silence really pisses me off.
 
Mine arrived yesterday, so don't despair. I'm sure something happened, he wasn't able to ship, then he was able to ship, and he did. Personally I have such a huge backlog I didn't really mind.
 
good luck on getting the games. if you decide you want a dreamcast,pm me. i just bought want and i decided that i am going to sell,cause i cant find any games i wanted for it.

You should just do random calls whenever you feel like it until you get ahold of him. Eventually you will get a hold of him or his parents.
 
has anyone heard from mechhybrid? i had a trade going on with him, luckily for me, he had to send first....i called the trade off via pm after a few weeks, though i dont think he even received the pm's yet....

I sent at the same time(supposedly), mainly because I was busy and had other business at the PO. He has not responded to my PMs.


it is starting to piss me off. I think I am going to start making people ship first. I had been burnt earlier this year by someone, I hope this does not turn out the sme way
 
if thats the case, what a bastard...hopefully you still get your end of the deal...i was supposed to be trading his evolution worlds for my lunar legend....after a few weeks passed and no returned pm's, i wrote him a final pm letting him know that i cant hold a trade forever and ive received other offers, so id have to take one of them up....and if somehow the game is still in the mail and i eventually receive it, i can offer him $$ or maybe a different game

edit: this post was meant to respond to zewone, but it fits caseyrybacks situation as well
 
I was trading Lufia for ZOE 2. I even game him an extra 5 bucks for trading me that game, since no one else seemed to have a copy.

I will wait though. I sent something media mail and it took 23 days (my mom shipped it for me, as I was getting ready for vacation)

i totally sympathize

the worst part is not to hear back from the guy at all, a quick pm would be so easy

i have a situation where i received a game from someone but never received confirmation that he received the game i traded to him (delivery confirmation indicates that it wasn't delivered), i sent a number of pms asking if the game was received (maybe the post office just didn't log it as delivered) and offerring to return his game if he hadn't received mine (i still haven't opened it), all i got was total silence, i can't be upset because it's not like he is complaining about me (i assume he got the game or just doesn't care since it was a $5 game) but it just would be nice to know what's going on because i think for the most part we all want to behave with honor in this community

I hate getting ripped off. Looks like rimsforsale has left the building. He hasn't posted since July 17 and doesn't like to answer emails or phonecalls.

If anyone's heard from him, please post here or PM me PLEASE !!!!
