Kinect Games. Which one(s) are you getting? Am probably going to get Dance Central and the fam wants Your Fitness. Don't know about Kinect Sports yet. $149.99+tax for kinect and another $100 for 2 games :hot: :bomb:

Any suggestions/recommendations? I haven't seen any deals on Kinect really other than kmart but there's no kmart in my area so that sucks.
 
I saw that the ea active fitness game for kinect is $99 and the wii version of it is $39.99 @ best buy. wow I think more people will end up getting the Your Fitness game instead. I decided on Your Fitness & Dance Central for now. Gotta love the 18 months, no interest @ best buy this will help out especially with reward zone points.
 
The Ea fitness game comes with some sort of heart rate monitor. That's what the extra charge is for. I had a coupon to EA Store so I preordered it there. Glad to see others on the internet that aren't completely trashing kinect.
 
Yeah, at work we cleared out a whole aisle and a half just for Kinect products and a good amount of floor space to demo Kinect. Am looking forward to it and know alot of people who are as well. Hope alot of the games are online multiplayer enabled like joy ride, kinect sports, etc. Haven't seen any box details or any other information as far as details for any of the games.
 
I'm getting kinectimals for my kids. Adventures (pack-in) will be for everyone. I'll probably get Harry Potter for me.

Then, probably sports for everyone in the house and child of eden for me next year.

I also am very interested in those XBLA Kinect games announced at TGS. Panzer Dragoon!! Woo Hoo!
 
Getting Kienctimals for my kids, Your Shape Fitness evolved for the wife and myself, and Dance Central for the family.
 
I have Your Fitness already paid off and I'll probably get the Dance Central game. I'm going to wait for reviews on the Dance Central game and if there good I'll pick it up.
 
I don't know when I will get a Kinect (trying to save up to put a down payment on a new car) but from the launch games I would get Kinect Sports. My wife thinks Kinectimals is cute, so maybe that too. Dance Central is a lot of fun -- I played it at PAX, but I felt like an idiot there and would probably feel like an idiot playing at home, too.

I am expecting a Wii-like launch. Get the casual gamers first so you don't create an extreme hardware shortage, then slowly trickle out the games aimed at the core audience.


Most of the games I tried are "fun". I used quotations because I know some were not aimed at me. I imagine with achievements/avatar awards and goofy pics of my friends and me playing certain games I can be convinced to play more titles.

I'm waiting for a deal. I'll probably get Your Shape and Dance Central.
