Kirby Squeek Squad

CAGiversary!
Is squeek squad worth a purchase?? I have never been a diehard fan of the Kirby series but I dont dislike it either. I liked canvas curse and kirbys adventure on the NES. How does squeek squad stack up against the others in the series??

Thanks

I loved the old Kirby's Adventure, but I hated Squeak Squad. Mainly because I hate games where you have to collect Every. Single. Treasure Chest. to even be allowed into the final level of the game. I don't remember much about the ability mix system, but it seemed pretty random to me, and the levels, while traditional, blend together after awhile. In short, the game didn't offer me anything new to offset the mediocrity. Just my opinion. But if you get it, I hope you enjoy it.

I really really enjoyed Kirby SS, however I enjoy all Kirby games no matter what  The game was relatively long for me, as I would not proceed to the next level until I had gotten all the treasure chests on the level I was working on. The powers were great, a few new ones to me, as I played Nightmare in Dreamland for GBA, but skipped the Mirror one. It is definitely fun, but pretty easy compared to Canvas Curse. I think Nightmare in Dreamland was pretty damn close to the Kirby NES, if not just a remake, but it was short, like there was an unlockable mode "Meta Nightmare" where you played through the game as Meta Knight, but couldn't save, I think I beat it in like 1:29:xx, so it that one wasn't long. Anyways what I am trying to get at is Squeak Squad is longer than Nightmare in Dreamland, but shorter than Canvas Curse. I bought it and don't regret it, and it is totally fun while it lasts.
