Aahh. I own the cart and I have no problem plunking down the cash for the VC version. It's such an awesome game. Probably one of my top 10 favorites. The VC release isn't as good as a remake but, I'll take what I can get.

(Rock power up owns for long range chip shots).

It's a very solid single player game. I actually haven't played against anyone in.... 10 years or so. I've beaten the game straight through in one sitting and still wanted more. It's just an awesome game. (It is, as you suspect, a kick ass multiplayer game).
