I haven't seen this posted yet, but in today's Kmart flier, Microsoft Points are on sale.

price is $19.99 for 1600 points, but you get a $10 gift card toward a future Xbox 360 gaming purchase. (Coupon can NOT be applied toward XBL points)

$49.99 for the 4000 points card, but they're giving a $20 gift card toward a future Xbox 360 gaming purchase. (Coupon can NOT be applied toward XBL points)

I successfully price matched at Beat Buy today. I'd have a better shot burning a GC there than at Kmart!!

I hope this helps someone!

** Edited that it's a coupon, not a gift card only able to be used for a future XBox 360 gaming purchase. Can NOT be applied toward XBL points. **

I guess you can keep using the GCs on points no? That makes the 1600 point cards pretty good. Spend $20 then get the rest for $10 off then you get a $10 GC to keep.

EDIT: In the Official thread it says that the coupon/GC can't be used on points or PSN $. I guess if you can PM at BB you can do it as many times as they'll let you, but that is YMMV.

hell i'm gonna check it out, since i missed the amazon and wally world $5 discount. this is a much better deal anyways. need a points card and the gc makes buying valkyria chronicles or starcraft II all the more sweeter. now which one. decisions, decisions.....

edit: oh wait, just read the kmartgamer thread. sounds like gc is only good for 360 shiznit. dammit!

lucky you to get a best buy price match. best buy shot me down saying the ad states "gaming coupon" and that is something best buy doesn't offer so they won't price match it. i had $100 in best buy credit i wanted to burn :(

when does the $10 off coupon expire? thinking of going for this deal, but using that $10 off coupon towards halo reach standard edition plus getting the $20 gc matched @ bb, tru or elsewhere. that would sweeten the deal up..

Awesome. I dont mind the extra post, as I wouldnt have seen this deal without it. My wife is a doctor at a Kmart clinic, so she is going to pick me up a 4000 point card and then use the $20 coupon for a 1600 point card. Basically, allowing me to buy Bully for free off of Marketplace. Great deal, as I needed points anyways.

I have become addicted to buying games on demand(at least the $20 games), as I love having some of my favorite games at my fingertips, when I want to go back and play them. I played Bully, but only the first few hours as the game glitched... but since the patch has been released, I am looking forward to getting into it. I loved the games atmosphere. Kind of took me back to my middle school days... and free... makes it even better.

Thanks again for posting the deal, outside of the main thread... as, again, I never would have seen it because I never look there.

FYI ~ The coupons will not work towards points cards.

I imagine after the sale ends, they might. If not, no big deal. I can always use the $20 for something else.

Yea they realized their mistake. I prefer 360 over my PS3 so I was pumped when I saw this deal and then the loophole was closed. :(

Still getting a 4000 using that coupon on NHL and using that $20 on another 4000.

$120 = 8000 XBL pts, NHL 11 and a $20 GC to use on either Halo or Dead Rising 2 or Plants vs Zombies all depending on their upcoming deals announcment. :D
