Tuesday is looking to be deadly on my wallet.
Duke Nukem and Tomb Raider Trilogy.

I am glad that I can get Tomb Raider online, in case my store doesn't have any copies :D.

At this point should the clearance prices from post #6 be ringing up in all stores automatically? I saw the Singstar vol. 2 w/mics bundle at one store and it still totals out to $59.99.

I can't tell you for certain, but without the PC icon next to it in the OP (whereas some others have it), I would lean toward no.
The only game I recall him confirming to be console-only recently was the Oblivion 5-year package, however.

As others mentioned the coupon is not active until the following Sunday, but if you hold onto that coupon for another week after it is activated (not a week after purchase) you can use it on Alice when it's on sale for $35.

Good to know. I know when you posted that LA NOIRE deal(still can't believe all the stuff I got for around $65;)) I felt like I was robbing the store.:)

Don't get me wrong I take advantage of pennied guides and I've price matched(or attempted to) price errors before, but it's good to hear that the loophole of people returning games/items and using the coupons has been blocked.

Hopefully you can do something similar to the LAN deal sometime in the future, as my Kmarts are still rife with $20 games I could pick to take full advantage(legally) of such a deal in the future.:cool:
 
Not sure if its in all kmarts but in this weeks ad on the front page if you spend 50 dollars in qualifying merchandies which video games count, you will get a coupon to earn 10x the points for the following week

Can someone relay what went on earlier, abridged-style? I just want to put into perspective what prompted Josh to flag someone's posts (usually, it seems that sort of thing gets weeded out on its own). It's like in movie Tombstone, where Wyatt Earp is like, "You called down the thunder. Well, now you've got it!" :hot:

tl;dr version: Someone said they were gonna buy a 360 for the $60 coupon, then return the system n use the coupon. A bunch of debating/discussion of how their account would be blackballed ensued, then the cleanup came.

Actually it's a father's day gift for my dad. This game could still get a metacritic review of 1.0 and he would still want it on release. :lol:

Plus I had fun with the demo.

I keep hearing on the gamefaqs board that Alice Madness returns is going to be $34.99 a week after launch can anyone confirm this? I'm Picking up duke and child of eden and could use my coupons I get from them to pick up alice if this is true

Yes you need a SYWR card, and no the coupons are not active immediately, they are active the next week and remain good for usually 45 days.

The first 4-5 posts in this thread are your friend, don't be afraid, read them.
 
Dang, well I guess I'll skip CoE, then, as I don't know if I'd get to using that coupon within 45 days, unless Dirt 3 were to stay at $39.99 for another week. So I'd basically be paying full price for it, no discount.
 
Wow, just read about Shadows of the Damned. This game looks sick and it's made by Suda 51. So it's going to be crazy. Defiantly gotta pick that one up as well :D.

I know it's not coming out for quite a while still but the recent backlash talk on other sites has me curious. Josh do you know if the Battlefield 3 Back to Karkland dlc being included free with the game is really a pre-order only deal or if it's going to be like most EA limited edition games where it's all of the first run copies? Thanks

The reason is I believe they are adding Move support for the PS3. So it's going to take some extra development time.

All the games coming out September/October for me are: Resistance 3, Gears of War 3, Rage, Dark Souls, possibly Silent Hill Downpour, God of War Origins, and the Team Ico Collection. All of these games should come out in a 45 day release schedule, so if I can stack all the coupons I can get a hefty discount on that xbox.
As I said before, I'm just asking, but if this is not allowed, I'll obviously not do it.

I am not sure if there is a limit or not. The most I ever stacked was probably 5 or so on a 250 GB HDD for my 360, which brought the price down to ~$60. That was a while back.
 
As long as none of the coupons are from the exact same promotion (i.e. bought a single game twice), all coupons should stack up to the purchase price before tax.
 
There was a huge list of price drops today. Well over 800. Didn't get a chance to do them but I did notice a quite a few games on there. I'll try to get a copy, but no promises. :lol:
 
Happened upon a Kmart in New Hampshire and stopped in. Nothing marked correctly but I did get some blurays for a few bucks each less than amazon...Dark Knight for $10, and Superband and Pineapple Express for $8 each.
 
So am i the inly one excited about picking up Alice tomorrow?

I'm assuming this post means they're still on sale. I don't know if it was being covered in this thread, but Kmart has had a large amount of $15-$20 blu-rays on sale for $8/$10/$15 since last Sunday.
Not all were mentioned in the ad. Some titles include Lost Kingdom $8, Sin City 2-disc $8, Hellboy II, 2010 $10, Twister $10, Jonah Hex $10, most of the Fast & Furious titles, The Punisher, Terminator 2 (non Skynet edition), District 9 $10, many more...

The only way I'd pick up Alice tomorrow is if I had money to burn. You realize the game may not do well critically (which you may not care about) and that it's going to be $35 in a couple weeks?

It's not too big of a drop if they preordered it from TRU / Amazon for $45.
