I just recently purchased a KVM switch with USB ports for mouse and keyboard. The hookups from the KVM to the PCs were a combo of VGA and USB. When I had the KVM plugged in, both my wireless 360 controller receiver and printer (both hooked up via USB) wouldn't work.
In order to play anything using the 360 controller, I had to unplug the USB portion of the KVM and then restart the computer. If I did so, the controller worked fine, but if the USB of the KVM was plugged in, the controller wouldn't sync.
Is interference causing this? Would a KVM switch that uses PS2 for mouse and keyboard and doesn't have USB connections amend this problem?
Any help would be much appreciated.
