If you guys go to yahoo.com, they have a current poll that shows that Obama has a projected 355 votes vs Mcain's 156... Come'on... that does not seem realistic at all.... :hot:

No matter what Obama's camp needs to push it hard the next 8 days like they are losing cuz you just never know...:headache:

I'm just worried that they will give up and some how they lose...

I'm worried that people who favor Obama will get cocky and assume they don't need to vote since he's so far ahead in the polls. Mccain supporters will turn out in droves and could push him over the edge if Obama supporters stay home.

538 has the current chances of a landslide (375+) at 48%, with an overall Obama victory happening 96.7% out of 1000 simulations.

However, no one is complacent here. The polls also assume that votes are going to be counted as they were cast, which is not going to happen. Thats why the landslide scenario is what is being shot for. If they steal 1 million, bring 5. If they steal 5, bring 10.

Yeah I think even Obamas campaign said something abuot this.

Don't underestimate the old white vote either. Once people get in the voting booth and it's time to make the decision, they will look down at the words:

President: BARACK OBAMA

"B-A-R-A-C-K.."

"O-B-A-M-A..."

Like it or not, many 40+ folks will think.."Damn...Am I really going to vote for this guy? Really?? Look at his name.. He seems so different. Better play it safe and vote for the old white guy again."

This I think has a big chance of happening, especially if these Obama landslide polls keep showing up everywhere... it will become an assumption.
