LCD Screen as Console Screen

Hey guys,

Anybody know of a product that would let me connect game consoles to my PC given a component input so that I can play them in HD? I don't have a TV currently, but I wanted to drag out my old PS2 to do some gaming for a month or so before I start school again and use it with my 22" LCD monitor. If the product was a PCI card, then it would be nice if it also functioned as an HDTV tuner, but I doubt I would find something like that. I'll probably eventually get an XBox-360 or some other console, so something with multiple inputs is a plus.

I found this thing:
http://www.amazon.com/VGA-Monitor-Input-Convertor-Selector/dp/B000JCLLUW

and this: http://www.gameyeeeah.com/xb008-in-vga-box-for-xboxgcps-to-pc-monitor-pal-ntsc-p-146.html

But I don't know how well it would work.

My monitor has both DVI and VGA connectors.

Thanks!

Update:

I realized that some of the ones above actually would not meet my needs since they lack YPbPR inputs, so the image on my LCD screen would not be in HD.

I am thinking about purchasing this one (which includes component cables for all 3 major consoles):

Or this one: http://www.merconnet.com/product_info.php?products_id=513

Or this one: http://www.x2vga.com/

Of everything you posted, the X2VGA is the most respected and well known. Problem is, you want to play PS2. The X2VGA is only going to support 480p and up (it has the "EasyView" function, which I assume looks like crap and is only for setup purposes), while the vast majority of PS2 games only display in 480i.

You'll probably get the best upscaling from your computer using a PCI card. I'm a little out of the loop as to what VIVO supports, but you could look into it.
