I love when the anti-homosexuality crusaders get caught "tapping their foot", so to speak, but this just seems like he's gay and he's a Republican. Is there any more meat to this story than that?

If so, I'll grab my popcorn and enjoy the show. If not, then this thread seems to be much ado about not much.
 
Dude was one of the more famous people to graduate from my college.

Kind of sad what went on while he was part of the RNC. It would be like Colin Powell being Strom Thurmond's Chief of Staff.

He led the RNC until early 2006, I think, so he was complicit, by his silence, in endorsing issues like federal amendments to ban gay marriage, supporting DADT, and various other right-wing measures to regard gays as second-class citizens.

Not that it matters much. Republicans voters are more then willing to ignore the calculating manipulation and rampant hypocrisy of their politicians if it affords them the chance to express their bigotry.

Oh by the way, this is coming from me, as a member of the Gay community, I don't WANT your help getting Gay Marriage approved. You likely didn't say jackshit to Rove about DOMA, which is causing all sorts of problems with states that DO have Gay Marriage, those couples getting federal benefits ya know?
