I got to school a few weeks ago and discovered I left my gamestop card with trade-in credit at home. Are they able to look the amount of credit I have up on their computers, or am I just screwed?
Chances are they would probably need you to have the actual card on you, since how do they know you're not just trying to use someone else's trade credit by having copied down their EDGE/gift card number.
I would just say to have whoever is at your house mail you the card to your current address at school.
Either that or use the entire amount of credit on the card on the GS website and then simply return the item(s) to the closest GS with the packing slip you're given with the order.
Then they can refund you the full amount onto a new gift card.
