[quote name='Zepp-Head']Meggie, I hate to make you more jealous, but I just went to my local Barnes and Noble and scored Hogwart's Express and the Earth Defense HQ each for 50% off.
I was surprised to see so many sets still available right before closing. And to thing I ws originally was going to skip Barnes and Noble altogether today, assuming everything would be gone by the evening. I guess most people were following the 1 per customer rule posted on all the signs. I asked if it would be alright if I purchase the HP set, put it in my car, come back in and purchase another set. The cashier said that was fine with him. I didn't want to press my luck and try it a third time, but it was SOOOO tempting. This store had all the newer HP sets, plus a few old ones, and lots of mid-range Star Wars and City. Not a single POTC set anywhere, but its a smaller store so they may not have carried them. They also had all the Architecture sets, but I tried buying one (before going back and choosing the Alien Conquest set) and it rang up at full price. So I guess the Architecture series aren't considered "educational" toys. Funny, because I think they are probably the MOST educational of all the sets they carry! Anyway, Barnes and Noble definitely gets my vote for having the best Black Friday deal this year.

Good lord, do all stores just suck here. All my BN had were AC, some old city sets, and like last years Atlantis sets.
No HP, a spattering of crappy SW sets.
oh well.... I got the AC HQ for 40%... so I'm not too bitter. I'm just sour now.
