LEGO Deals 3

yeah I am surprised the turbo tank hasn't gotten another run whereas the AT-TE and Republic Gunship have gotten a few at this point

Target has the new-ish Disney Ideas of Magic set for $79, had enough in gift cards (thanks to the dead Sony Rewards program) to cover it so that was a nice present to myself and will go in my new office once I am done decorating. the Sorcerer Mickey looks a bit wonky but it has cool concept and great selection of minifigures

$100. Comes out in two weeks.
(Hopes for an Ice Planet set)

I was really hoping for more Blacktron II but that’s still a day 1 for me.

Yes!
I saw this and went "That's Blacktron?!" This color scheme is before my time. I have one of those huge window pieces with the B on it. I used it for a pizza shop I made as a child. 😂

Still very glad Lego is making new sets from past themes. Plus it's decently priced.

I thought for sure with the Collectible Minifig Series 26 being the Blacktron II theme that this announcement was going to follow that theme rather than first Blacktron. Like I said though, I’ll take any Blacktron any day of the week, just inject that nostalgia right into my veins. But that transclear neon green, that’s the Lego I fell in love with.

Walmart is having some crazy Walmart cash deals. $20 duplo set with $16 Walmart cash to use in the future. New princess peach castle $65 with $26 Walmart cash. Dreamzzz t-rex robot $90 with 32$ cash. Most have Honey CB too so the duplo set is kind of $2!!!

The Peter Pan display is $60 with $$12 Walmart cash. I know someone here wanted that.

If you are in the very specific Venn diagram of having a BJ's membership and wanting to buy a set at Barnes & Noble, you can get $150 worth of gift cards for $120 (3x $50): B&N Gift Card at BJs

They are physical cards, though. Shipping is free, but will take 3-5 Business Days.

We are getting a theme in August from the Netflix One Piece show. Aka Pirates!

The Peter Pan set went from $60 to $56 yesterday and is now $52 with $12 Walmart Cash. Wond r if it will drop $4 every day but it's retiring so if you want it grab it.

Maybe bad news KRUSTY BURGER fans. The set is rumoured to be $230 and rumoured to have only 1600 pieces. Hopefully one of both those rumours are wrong.

Also might get some Bluey sets based on a Facebook post conspiracy theory.

I am the one always looking out for it. Lego store doesn't carry it in store anymore. Walmart's around me haven't had it in stock for a while now but just checked this morning and looks like a couple do for $55, probably as good as a deal as I'm going to find at this point, not sure if its on the retirement list but probably close to it.

edit - so I also collect SW Black Series figures, cleaning up my new office I found an unopened figure I had a double of so I returned it to Walmart, bought it a long time ago so I didn't have the receipt but used my ID and got $26 gift card. went down the Lego aisle, couldn't find the Peter Pan set anywhere, no associates around to help of course. But I went down to where the clearance aisles were and sure enough there were three of the Peter Pan sets there marked down to $40, so ended up getting it for $15. they had a good amount of other clearance sets too but I will have to go back after payday.

also, series 27 minifigures have been found at Target and the apps are already set up to tell you who's in them when scanned.

I'm glad you got it. I like it but forty would be about my max with it. I'm pretty sure it's on the December 31st retirement list.

Target has 36 sets on sale or clearance. Four sets are 50 percent off and some poly bags are slightly cheaper. Everything else has been much cheaper.

4+ Star Wars set.
Baby gorilla poly bag.
A DOTS box
Avatar coral base.

I have several hundred sets still in boxes including classic pirates sets 6279 and small Wild West set 6709 along with a ton of random themes sets, Lego Movie, different modern space themes, Super Hero. If anyone is looking for a certain set or theme send me a message. I'll give you a much better deal than Bricklink.

EDIT: Lots of GWB , seasonal and poly bags.

Saw some series 27 at Barnes & Noble. Someone went through and grabbed all the wolf masters. 4 freaking cases. the girl behind the counter tells me "oh yeah someone went through all the boxes yesterday" after I had scanned everything.

My WalMart doesn't have the Series 27 CMFs yet but they did have a bunch of stuff on clearance today. Picked up the City space station for $74, passed on a few things of note like the 332nd Clone Trooper battle packs for $10, Tales of Space Age for $32, Peter Pan & Wendy (I think $30?).

I picked up a couple series 27 at Target yesterday - plush collector and hamster costume. I have been seeing people on other boards still blind buying, ending up with extras and complaining - I guess these people have been in a coma the past year or so.
One Target near me has clearance at 15% off and its wild to me that people bite at this instead of letting is sit, especially since at this Target everything is locked up so there is no way of stashing.
Walmarts around me have good clearance, one store had some sets at 60% off but nothing I was particularly interested in.

I ended up breaking down and buying the X-Jet at Walmart at $57 on clearance, still feels a bit high but I’m a sucker for X-men stuff.

I also brought my kids to the Lego store at mall of America on New Years Day. Thankfully I was able to grab the Blacktron set, and I guess at this point I shouldn’t be too surprised but they were almost completely wiped out of the new stuff even early in the afternoon. Even Ninjago (which I’d argue is actually getting more popular than ever now that the show is on Netflix). A few of the Mario Kart sets were gone, others were low.

I spent about 20-30min scanning series 27 minifigs, and of course the entire bin didn’t have a single Wolfpack. An employee even came over and started helping me scan at one point… Honestly, what’s even the point of making them blindbox anymore? Can’t they just go back to the “magnets” of selling 3-4 at a time?

Lego makes six packs. I don't know why they can't make one six pack of six and another six pack of six.

I think what I might do is just buy a bunch of them online, scan them at home, hope for multiple Wolfpack, and return the extras.

cleaning out a closet today and came across a bunch of stuff but the standouts were some unopened Dimensions - Krusty, Goonies and Power Puff Girls - and also a Barnes and Noble Bricktober Harry Potter minifigure 4 pk.

found a Target with series 27 but it had already been pilfered of the wolfmasters but was also looking for the cat lover for the wife but no dice there either. did pick up the bogeyman though

I plan on going to the Walmart I saw the X-jet on clearance at. I should have some more unopened SW BS figures I can return :p

Man, I’ve had no problems finding the other highly sought after minifigs but I feel like this stupid Wolfpack one is going to be an absolute pain in the ass to find. It seems like I anecdotally keep hearing “there was a fresh case but no wolfpacks” both online and in person.

Someone posted a picture of a toy store selling all the series 27 Minifigures for $9 each, except the Wolfpack one, it was $22.

Happy January 6th everyone! Never forget the horrible day where if you built a LEGO set you were a terrorist! :ROFLMAO:

I think the more amusing implication is this neckbeard, Meal Team 6 LARPer built the Lego set to plan out his infiltration.

“Hey honey, do you want to take a break from playing with your legos, I’ll make you a sandwich”
“MOM STOP INTERRUPTING I’M DOING IMPORTANT STUFF! America and Donald Trump NEED ME!!!”

On another note, what absolute dreck of reporting. Who the hell cares if someone owned a mass-produced Lego set. This is the garbage that ends up diluting the work of actual journalism. “Democracy dies in darkness” doesn’t mean every writer needs a spotlight…

Washington Post actual tagline was "Democracy dies in darkness, so let's turn the lights off for you" but it was too long. There isn't a single journalist at Washington Post, not one. They are owned by Jeff Bezos who has billions and billions in government contracts and deals with the CIA. They will never do actual news.

Rioters are not terrorists. A CEO murderer is not a terrorist. Hell the FBI claims blowing up your car outside the president elect's hotel is not a terror act. The government just uses the word 'terrorist' so they can lock anyone they want up for as long as they want without due process. Or in the case of Obama, just murder an American teenager in a drone attack.

I currently have several rockets and space shuttles displayed on my desk. I'm clearly an anti science terrorist who is going to blow up NASA. We must keep the Friends' cat from reaching Mars at all costs! :ROFLMAO:

Seaside Market is the only one I'm considering. The ship is nice, but it feels a little cartoony to me.

Edit: I think I know why. The ship reminds me of a reskinned Steamboat Willie. When I think merchant ship, I think something like a galleon. Probably cause of Sid Meier's Pirates!

Only funhole I want to see needs to have a certain someone behind it. O_O

I got a 25% off coupon on that listing, some of those sets look really cool, maybe I’ll give them a chance.
I'm debating which one I want to try. Skate park and flying club look fun for $75 after coupon. Also thinking about one of the cabins. Jang said the quality is the same as Lego, but has lights and new sets have no stickers, all prints.

Also Pantasy supposedly has the same base company making the bricks but no weird figures or lights.

We have a big announcement coming soon! - Nintendo

SWITCH 2 REVEAL?! - Nintendo fans

Nah. First the dumbest alarm clock ever and now an overpriced Gameboy. I kind of like the Nintendo trolling. 😂

Lego added a very few new pieces to Bricks and Pieces, after removing another 1,000. One is the blue thing from Zelda. It will only be 57 cents. Can't buy it yet. Part number 6503895

I only saw one Lego set at target on clearance - Animal crossing bunny set. They also had the green goblin constraction figure on an end cap but I didn't bother scanning it.
