Still amazes me that a company called limited release games releases games that everyone thinks is rare and limited.

That is the point of LRG to spoon feed you scaricity.
 
We started switching up how boxes were sealed at the end of shipping Lone Survivor. We're using longer precut strips of tape now rather than wafer seals. There is only so much we can do, though, when shipping in a box already takes 3x as much time and effort versus a bubble mailer (effectively tripling the labor cost per package). If we add fumbling with tape and scissors, that's going to go off the rails fast. We'll sort it, though, don't worry.

Its baffling to think you would assume because someone has good benefits and is paid well they wouldnt steal. Hell how many times do you hear about very rich people stealing? Sure they dont steal packages but they steal all the same. Stealing often times isnt about how much money you have. Poor impulse control, like the feeling of stealing, a habitual habit, desire to have what someone else has, maybe their just an asshole or a dozen other reasons beyond just how much money is in your wallet.

To keep arguing "they make good money and know there is consequences" that a postal worker would never steal is well.....asinine. Im guess youre either very young and still in that phase of "it makes sense to me so it has to be an absolute fact" or just really naive about how the world really works.

How about you bring it to my house and deliver it to me personally? When I'm paying $30 for a game that's only worth $2.50, I feel like I'm not asking for too much.

Whoah! Do you not know about Tape Guns? What kind of noob shipping 10K+ games out would use a roll of tape and scissors?!?! Tape guns are not expensive, get some and get some good tape. It should cost no more time to use tape as to peal stickers and apply them.

Postal workers do not steal GENERALLY SPEAKING (ALMOST NEVER). It's called making a generalization. It's generally true except for a few outliers. It's very clear to any reasonable person that he isn't talking in absolutes.

I'm pretty sure Mrclark isn't capable of anything other than shitposting. It's amazing how many people there are on this site who only post to countermand other members.

I think part of the problem was that there's a cutout by where you guys put the wafer tape, so there's next to no contact to begin with. I've seen similar boxes like the ones you guys use where they tape the two sides instead with wafers, and they work ok. But I don't think they usually ship it like that either.

Showing the examples above proves the point that any and every one can steal. It doesn't matter if you work at the post office, or if your homeless living on the streets. Human beings steal, it's a fact of life.

Almost every job I have ever worked at, I've seen people fired over theft. People who made 100,000 a year, and those who made under 10,000 a year. The original post here was in relation to how a postman was not going to steal a LRG package due to them making good money, and how they wouldn't sacrifice that for stealing.

Above are10 examples from the last year on how it does happen, and happens as much as theft happens at any other business. So why state someone is "shitposting" when he shows facts, and you've shown none. I would say before calling some one out for shitposting, look in the mirror.

 
The world is being run on policy and news based on "exception" rather than "rule;" it's not good practice.

Your pseudo-intellectual posts and cynicism knows no bounds. It's a federal offense for postal workers to steal mail. That means multiple felonies, so it hardly ever happens. Comparing it with other jobs is apples and oranges. Dozens of murders happen in every major metropolitan area each year too. Citing them doesn't mean it's unsafe to go outside. Just as googling 10 stories is in no way representative of the statistics on theft.

I understand you have this giant hard-on for me now. But it's time for you to get over it. You post more crap than just about anyone between your constant stream of Dear Diary blogging on here and all of your tinfoil hat wearing Nintendo conspiracy nonsense. Hey one time I ordered a game from XSEED and it was sealed with a single strip of scotch tape. The box arrived to me opened with nothing inside. Obviously somebody opened it and took out the game or it just fell out during shipping. Thankfully XSEED took care of it, and improved their shipping.

LOL, he did that to you too? I remember him name calling me and said something like "I'm sorry for anyone who has to put up with you in your real life" but you know what the irony is? He's the one just couldn't let things go... He attempted to jab at me in the other Vita thread (I didn't even know who he was until I made the LRG thread connection), so petty....

No comment on the newest box shipment, I haven't receive it yet. Honestly, I think the box is a good move. There are times LRG jammed 3 or 4 games into one bubble mailer, it was to tightly packed that I'm surprised the mailer didn't burst while in transit... Of course, for boxes, you gotta tape them shut, did I hear wafer seals were used? Praying right now...

Josh already reported that the wafers are no longer being used, but there still may be some in transit that have them, so yeah, praying is probably a good idea at this point. LOL

Hopefully if any orders arrive with items missing, LRG will make good on them, as this was for sure a problem in the making.

some of them you cross once and they remember it for a lifetime. some of them get riled up and reply to you every time you make a post, or consciously +1 every post that goes against you. that's how introverts work. gotta hold onto that grudge forever.

I ordered Skullgirls with Volume so that I'd save on shipping. Does this mean  my Volume copy is now delayed as well? I'm afraid whenever I get Skullgirls copy physical the Volume copy is going to get lost in the shuffle.

Yeah, we've used them and they're not that great for small boxes or instances where you don't need a ton of tape. I tried using a really nice one on the Saturday Morning RPG vinyl mailers and a tape with scissors combo was much faster. I haven't researched it yet, but I'm sure there is a desk mounted shipping tape dispenser I can get that would suit our needs.

I personally use a tape gun, as I can make pieces as big or as small as a few inches(scissors for me are to cumbersome and way to slow), but I've developed a skill at using it over the years as well. There are many different devices out there for sure, that meet certain needs, so look around, and I'm sure you'll find something that fits the bill.

I'm really confused.  I popped in my PS4 copy of breach and clear deadline and the first it did was download a 1 GB update.  I thought everything was supposed to be on disc?

The only issue with Race the Sun is that LRG is trying to put the complete game on the cart. Is that even possible for a game where the level layout (and associated leaderboards) change daily? Will this game even run once the servers are down?

Oh this individual sent me photos of the report after he filed it. It was all false accusations though so I just let it be to avoid the annoyance. The amount of effort wasn't worth it.
